This Springfield Armory manufactured hammer with a parkerized finish is for the U.S. military model M1 Garand semi-auto rifle and is in very good condition with honest wear and possibly some specks of surface rust. This hammer is marked "C46008-5 SA" on the front side and would have been used in the 1,500,00 to 3,000,000 serial number range. (file photo)
